I think the event far exceeded any expectations that I had. It was great and some of the laudable comments I got from the troops had Sally in tears. She got to see a part of my life that she has only heard about and it was good for both of us.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate what you, Joe and Kay did to make this event a reality. I will be forever indebted to you all.

Are there e-mail contacts for the attendees? I didn't get near enough time to talk to everyone I wanted to and I would love to follow-up with them.

Hey Joe,

I wanted to meet you at the reunion on Saturday to personally thank you for putting on this event and for permitting us to take our daughter.

I had such a blast at the reunion. Unfortunately, some of the people I expected to see were not in attendance (for various reasons). But it was certainly good to see those who were there. By and large most of us looked the same (give or take a few more wrinkles and grey hairs). I did see Barbara Patzner again as well as some other supervisory people from those golden NYA years.

I sure would like to attend and see you and all the other people I was fortunate to work with at New York Air. I have very fond memories of that time. However, due to my current obligations and the distance to New York, I don't see how I can make it.

Sorry I could not make it to the NYA Reunion. I would have loved to be there. Please give my best wishes to all.

I just got back to Detroit after a wonderful weekend in New York. I just wanted to drop you all a note and thank you for putting together such a wonderful and memorable evening.

Dear Joe:

I must commend you, Kay and Harris on a great and successful evening. It was evident that you all put a lot of time into the planning and just to find everyone was amazing. When you talked to me months ago about a reunion, while I was excited about the idea, I was also skeptical about pulling it off, but it was just fantastic.

I was really happy to see so many people who I worked with so closely for years.  Once the merger happened, everyone went in different directions. I was especially happy to see Theresa Coutou, my partner in so many P&F crimes, Rita Lobdel, Ellen Zicca (Doutrich) and Barbara Patzner and also the GMs whose homes (stations) we helped build. I especially enjoyed trading stories with Donna Cusano over PAT, ART, red furniture and logo changes.

I've sent e-mails to those I know who didn't show up to tell them what they missed.

I had a blast. You put together a great party. I almost saw everyone that I wanted to see. I was so busy, I didn't even come over and reintroduce myself.

But I am curious to know how to get to see the pictures that the photographer took.

We must do it again. I had seen you through the crowd. You, Scott Gibson, Ed Lewis, Craig Milan, Glenn Dean all really didn't change. Joan Dacey, unbelievable. It's too bad Andrea didn't come. She would have laughed. Misty looks the same and Rebecca Ward. I can go on and on. But tell me how to get the pictures.
